At The Met Church, we believe that life is better together. We are not just a congregation; we are a community—a family that supports, encourages, and sharpens one another. Whether you are looking for deep discipleship, friendships that feel like family, or a place to serve, there is a place for you here.
Connect with us authentically, love your neighbors, and empower your relationship with Jesus through our diverse ministries.
Children’s Ministry
Our mission is to see every child grow in a vibrant, lasting relationship with Jesus. From their earliest days in nursery through their years in children’s ministry, we are committed to helping them build a strong foundation of faith, discover who God created them to be, and live with a deep sense of belonging in God’s family.
We live out this mission by nurturing children’s first steps of faith through a loving, prayerful environment where they experience God’s presence from the beginning. We also guide them to experience God’s love and calling through meaningful, age-appropriate teaching that helps them understand who they are in Christ as they grow.
Youth Ministry
Mission:
To create a Christ-centered, youth-driven community where students are seen, known, and empowered to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and live out their God-given purpose through the Empowerment Pathway.
NAME ORIGIN: I Timothy 4:12: Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, faith, and purity.
EMPOWERED 4:12 seeks to provide a Christ-centered atmosphere for youth to worship God, develop a relationship with Jesus Christ, to help youth find their identity in Christ, share Christ with the world, and develop them into adults who faithfully follow Christ and serve His Church, and live empowered by the Holy Spirit.
YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY (18-35)
With a focus on Young adults, Crossroads seeks to ensure that Growth, Outreach, and Discipleship is the ministry’s main focus. It’s all about GOD! Crossroads is a space for fellowship, service, and engagement in religious education while walking alongside all of those that are in the ‘“Crossroads of Life”. We are committed to being active young adults in the Met church and the Community. If you are a young adult and have joined the Met family, we want to get you plugged in to the Crossroads Family!
(Women’s Ministry)
Join a sisterhood of women with a heart and passion for the things of God. Activities for adult women focused on spiritual and personal empowerment while increasing social, community, and church involvement as well as unity of the Church’s female population. We are an intergenerational ministry and really like to celebrate the diversity in age of our congregation. We look for our women of all ages to learn from each other, to grow their faith, and to build a sense of community among their sisters.
(Men’s Ministry)
Brothers coming together encouraging one another in the faith. The purpose is to grow as Iron Sharpens Iron! The Met Men’s ministry is the place for brothers in Christ to Thrive! Activities for adult men focused on spiritual and personal empowerment while increasing social, community, and church involvement and unity of the Church’s male population. This ministry also engages in discipleship activities, including the regular study of God’s Word and prayer to aid men in their growth in Christ. Join us for Barbershop Talk and MORE!
Worship isn’t just about singing on Sunday; it’s about serving others and sharing the love of Christ. MetServe offers opportunities to use your gifts to bless others. When we serve, we worship.
